Return, Cancellation & Exchange Policy

Effective January 1, 2025

At Abel’s Party Rentals (“Company”), we endeavor to render dependable services and premium rental goods. To promote uniform administration of reservations and inventory, the following provisions govern all transactions without limitation or exception.

1) Booking; Consideration; Deposits

  • A non-refundable $35 deposit constitutes consideration to hold inventory and secure a delivery window.
  • All deposits and any prepayments are non-refundable, as such sums compensate the Company for capacity foregone and logistical allocations made upon acceptance of the order.

2) Cancellation; Frustration; Credits

  • Cancellations do not give rise to refunds, irrespective of notice period or circumstance.
  • In lieu of refund, the Company may, at Customer’s election:
    • (a) Reschedule the rental to a later date, subject strictly to availability; or
    • (b) issue a store credit (no expiration) applicable to future rentals at the then-prevailing rates.

3) Geographic Service Limitation (Orange County Primary)

  • The Company’s delivery operations are principally confined to Orange County, California.
  • Out-of-County Orders—Accommodation Attempt. If Customer submits an order listing an event address outside Orange County, the Company will attempt to contact Customer to evaluate feasibility and, where practicable, may offer delivery subject to an out-of-area delivery fee determined by distance, routing, and availability.
  • Customer Declines or Feasibility Not Achieved. If Customer declines the quoted out-of-area fee or if service is not feasible, the order will be converted automatically to a non-expiring store credit in the amount received. No refunds to the original payment method will be issued.
  • Any credit issued under this Section is redeemable solely for future events within Orange County (or for any specifically quoted and accepted out-of-area service).

4) Minimum Order Threshold

  • Orders with a merchandise total under $89.00 are subject to automatic cancellation at the Company’s discretion. Any payment received on such orders will be converted to non-expiring store credit pursuant to Section 3.

5) Disputes; Chargebacks

  • By placing an order, Customer assents to these terms. In the event of a chargeback or payment dispute, the Company will furnish this policy and the confirmed order record to the processor as evidentiary material.
  • While the Company empathizes with unforeseen events, personal, familial, or weather-related circumstances do not create refund eligibility beyond the credits set forth herein.

6) Equipment Nonconformity; Remedies

  • Customer must promptly notify the Company at 714-576-1147 upon discovery of any damaged or non-functional item.
  • The Company will, as exclusive initial remedy, dispatch a technician or provide a replacement at no additional charge.
  • If cure is impracticable before the event start, Customer will receive a refund for the affected item only; all other items and fees remain due and non-refundable.

7) Same-Day Adjustments; Upgrades

  • Non-defective exchanges on the day of delivery may be accommodated solely as inventory permits.
  • Upgrades are welcomed; Customer shall remit the incremental price differential, and the Company will manage the substitution.

8) Procedure to Cancel, Reschedule, or Modify

Notice. These terms are integral to every quotation, invoice, and confirmation issued by Abel’s Party Rentals and supersede any contrary oral statement. The remedies specified herein are exclusive to the fullest extent permitted by law, including for orders originating with out-of-county addresses.
